Dr. Terry Burpo, D.M.D., was born in Belleville, Illinois, and graduated from the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 1997. After practicing as an associate in Texas and Minnesota, he chose to make Crane, Missouri his home and opened Crane Family Dentistry on November 29, 1999. Since that time, Dr. Burpo has been committed to helping patients clearly understand their dental health while providing thoughtful, comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each individual.
Dr. Burpo believes patients should feel comfortable asking questions and fully understanding their dental care. His philosophy centers on preserving natural teeth whenever possible and helping patients maintain healthy smiles for a lifetime. By incorporating advanced technology such as dental lasers and modern imaging, he is able to diagnose conditions earlier, perform procedures with greater precision, and provide a more comfortable experience for his patients.
Certifications & Training
Dr. Burpo is a certified member of the teaching staff with the Center of Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry in Dallas, TX. He has taken several advanced courses in laser-assisted root canals and laser microsurgery. Dr. Burpo also attends training sessions every month to expand his ability to perform more complex procedures and keep up with current innovations in dentistry.
